The IMU Veterans Plaza, located north of the Iowa Memorial Union, stands as a hallowed space in remembrance of the sacrifice of our fellow Hawkeyes in service. This memorial plaza, inaugurated on November 10, 2023, pays homage to the courageous men and women who have served in the military, reflecting the university's commitment to honoring and supporting its veteran community.

The space will continue to evolve over time, serving as a gathering and memorial space for Hawkeye veterans.
